Currently own a Sexlink Roo, and would like to trade for or buy a Barred Roc Rooster. Currently starting out with a small flock of 25 hens, but would like to hatch out some Barred chicks.

We have an adult Sexlink Rooster that I'd like to trade or even give away. I'm new at chickens and have come to favor the Barred Rocks, of which I only have 4 hens. I just wanted to hatch out some barred chicks, but won't get that with my present rooster. I would be happy to buy a barred rooster, plus some Barred hens, and find a new home for the Sexlink rooster. His name, by the way, is J.D., and he's quite well behaved. He's well sized and does his duty daily. There's nothing wrong with him. I just like the barred. I also have 10 Rhode Island Reds, if anyone wants them. They're last year's laying hens. I live near Fruitport, Michigan, and didn't have anyone else to ask. If anyone could be so kind as to point me in the right direction, we would truly be grateful.
