Mainly produce Freshwater Prawns in polyculture with carps, possible to grow other tropical species like tilapia, catfish, or cherax. Details 62 ponds of different sizes (nursery ponds of 0.25 to 0.61 acres and grow out ponds of 1 to 2 acres) Buildings: - Main building of 3300 square feet includes area for product handling, packing and storage of the delivery iceboxes and a first hatchery. - A house including 4 rooms with office and living accommodation, kitchen and bathroom. - A building for feed storage and a living space for an employee. The farm includes 2 hatcheries managed in open circuit. The PL production capacity is 2.500.000 PL per cycle of 2 months. - the older one with 15 concrete tanks of 160 gallons each, - the second one with 11 fibreglass tanks of 500 gallons each. The electric powered by 2 generators of 15 and 25 kw, working non stop. Water supply: - 2 wells with pumps equipped with diesel engines: 450 GPM and 350 GPM. - 2 wells with 5 hp electric submersible pumps (120 GPM each) - network of PVC 8 to 4 tubes for water distribution Vehicles: - a 1 ton light truck for delivery (2007), - a 5 ton truck for transport of feed and salt water and larger delivery (2007).
