| Black Welsh Mountain sheep are raised for their fleece as well as their excellent mutton all of our rams and ewes are registered pure bloodlines and have been raised with all natural feed and live in open natural pastures free from pesticides & herbicides. We provide regular well health check ups with mandated vaccines administered and our entire herd is free from any diseases. Our feeds are tested regularly to maintain high quality feed as well as open field grassing in a fresh air environment. We have been working for years with Mr. Tom Wyman as well as Oogie McQuire producing a quality line of the endangered Black Welsh Mountain sheep. Black river Farm spring birthing has added an additional 36 new lambs to our herd. We are now taking requests for the purchase of lambs they are weaned and ready for shipment.
